Design, simulate, and optimize UHF RFID antennas (860-960 MHz band) and inlays for diverse applications including retail, logistics, healthcare, and industrial IoT
Develop custom antenna solutions for specific use cases such as on-metal tags, high-temperature environments, and flexible substrates
Collaborate closely with the manufacturing team to ensure Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and smooth production ramp-up
Conduct comprehensive performance testing including read range, orientation sensitivity, and multi-tag read scenarios using industry-standard equipment
Optimize antenna matching networks and RF front-end designs for maximum tag/reader performance
Mentor junior RF engineers and contribute to building a world-class engineering team
Stay current with EPC Gen2v2/RAIN RFID standards and emerging technologies in the RFID ecosystem
Work with international partners and customers to understand technical requirements and deliver custom solutions
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or related field
5+ years of hands-on experience in RF/antenna design, preferably with RFID or NFC technologies
Expert proficiency with EM simulation tools such as CST Microwave Studio, HFSS, or equivalent
Deep understanding of UHF RFID physics including backscatter modulation, RSSI, and impedance matching
Experience with antenna measurement techniques and equipment (VNA, anechoic chamber, tag performance testers)
Knowledge of PCB design for RF applications and understanding of manufacturing processes
Familiarity with RAIN RFID / EPC standards is highly preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Good communication skills in English; ability to work with international teams
