Supply Chain Manager
Position Summary
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for building and managing Nextwaves' end-to-end supply chain, including procurement, supplier management, production planning, inventory management, logistics, and demand planning.
This role is expected to establish scalable systems and processes that support Nextwaves' transition from an early-stage startup into a leading technology manufacturer.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Strategic Sourcing
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for electronic components, PCBs, antennas, mechanical parts, RFID products, and manufacturing materials.
- Identify, qualify, and develop domestic and international suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and supply agreements.
- Reduce material costs while maintaining quality and delivery performance.
Supply Planning
- Develop demand forecasts together with Sales and Customer Success.
- Build production and procurement plans aligned with customer demand.
- Ensure material availability for manufacturing while minimizing excess inventory.
- Improve inventory turnover and working capital efficiency.
Supplier Management
- Build long-term relationships with strategic suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance on quality, delivery, cost, and responsiveness.
- Conduct supplier evaluations and business reviews.
- Develop secondary sourcing strategies to reduce supply risks.
Logistics
- Manage inbound and outbound logistics.
- Optimize shipping costs and lead times.
- Coordinate import/export documentation and customs clearance.
- Ensure timely delivery to customers.
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Establish inventory policies including safety stock and reorder points.
- Improve inventory accuracy and cycle counting processes.
- Minimize obsolete inventory.
Process Improvement
- Design and implement scalable supply chain processes.
- Develop procurement SOPs and supplier qualification procedures.
- Establish KPIs and reporting dashboards.
- Support ERP/MRP implementation and optimization.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with:
- Sales to forecast customer demand.
- Customer Success to prioritize customer deliveries.
- Engineering to support new product introduction (NPI).
- Manufacturing to ensure production continuity.
- Finance to optimize inventory and cash flow.

Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related field.
- 5β10 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or operations.
- Experience in electronics manufacturing or industrial products.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong English communication skills.
Preferred
Experience in one or more of the following industries:
- RFID
- Electronics manufacturing
- Industrial automation
- Semiconductor
- Telecommunications
- EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services)
Experience working with suppliers in China, Taiwan, Vietnam, or Southeast Asia is highly desirable.
