International Business Development Manager

Drive global expansion and build strategic partnerships for our RFID antenna and reader solutions. You will be the bridge between Nextwaves and international markets, identifying opportunities and closing deals with enterprise clients, system integrators, and distributors worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business development strategies for international markets including Americas, Europe, Middle East, and Asia-Pacific regions
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with enterprise clients, RFID solution providers, and channel partners
  • Build and maintain relationships with key accounts including retail chains, logistics companies, healthcare providers, and industrial manufacturers
  • Represent Nextwaves at international trade shows, conferences, and industry events (RFID Journal LIVE!, Wireless IoT Forum, LogiMAT, etc.)
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to understand customer requirements and propose customized RFID solutions
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and RFP responses for complex enterprise deals
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals with international clients, managing the full sales cycle
  • Provide market intelligence and competitive analysis to inform product roadmap and pricing strategies
  • Work with operations and logistics to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction for international orders

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA is a plus
  • 5+ years of B2B sales or business development experience, preferably in technology, hardware, or RFID/IoT industry
  • Proven track record of closing deals with enterprise clients and building successful channel partnerships
  • Strong understanding of RFID technology, applications, and market dynamics (retail, supply chain, industrial, etc.)
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages (Chinese, German, Spanish) are a strong advantage
  • Willingness to travel internationally (up to 30-40% of time)
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Cultural sensitivity and ability to work effectively with diverse international teams and clients
