SDK & Integration Policy
How Nextwaves provides and supports SDKs, APIs, communication protocols and technical documentation for integrating its devices.
1. Purpose and scope
This Policy governs how Nextwaves provides, licenses and supports its software integration tools (SDKs, APIs, communication protocols and technical documentation) for the devices it supplies.
2. Integration rights
Customers may use the standard integration tools provided by Nextwaves to connect the devices they have purchased to software developed by themselves or by third parties, in accordance with the technical documentation and the applicable licence terms.
3. SDK availability
Nextwaves provides access to its standard SDKs and technical documentation through its official channels.
If a device line or an online SDK is discontinued, Nextwaves will give reasonable advance notice and, where feasible, make an existing SDK version or the technical documentation available so that customers can continue to integrate the devices they have purchased.
Nextwaves is not obliged to maintain, develop or update any SDK indefinitely.
4. Support and compatibility
Nextwaves provides technical support for its devices and standard integration tools under its support policy in force at the time.
Custom development, advanced integration, and compatibility with third-party software, operating systems or platforms fall outside standard support and may be provided under a separate agreement.
5. Responsibility and warranty
Customers are responsible for the development, operation, security and maintenance of their own software and integrated systems.
Nextwaves gives no warranty for third-party software or for defects caused by improper integration. Hardware warranty rights under the sales contract remain unaffected for defects attributable to Nextwaves.
6. Intellectual property
SDKs, technical documentation, software and the related intellectual property belong to Nextwaves or its lawful licensors. Customers may use them only within the rights granted and may not redistribute, reverse engineer or otherwise exploit them without authorisation.
7. Effect and updates
This Policy is published on Nextwaves' official website and applies where it is validly incorporated into, or accepted under, an agreement with the customer.
Nextwaves may update this Policy for future transactions. For existing customers, changes apply in accordance with their agreements and applicable law, and do not override rights already granted by contract without a valid legal basis or agreement.
If this Policy conflicts with a signed sales contract, the sales contract prevails.
