The Problem

Three Biggest Warehouse Challenges

Slow Import/Export

Manually counting and verifying every carton during receiving and shipping wastes hours of labor every day.

Painful Inventory Counts

Full warehouse counts take entire teams multiple days, often requiring operations to stop completely.

Can't Find Items

Searching for a specific pallet in a large warehouse can take 30+ minutes, delaying orders and frustrating staff.

Handheld Scanner (Hyperion)

Dual-purpose mobile scanner for warehouses. First role: inventory counting — walk along shelves and the scanner automatically reads all goods. A warehouse with thousands of SKUs completes counting in 15 minutes. Second role: item locating — enter an item code and the scanner works like a radar, beeping faster as you approach the target.

Location Tags

RFID tags permanently attached to specific warehouse locations: shelf edges, aisle endpoints, and floor zone markings. Each tag carries a unique location code (e.g., Zone A, Shelf 3, Level 2). When the scanner reads a location tag alongside product tags, the system automatically records which products are in which zone — creating a live digital warehouse map.

5-Step Setup Guide

01

Connect Desktop Reader

Plug the Desktop Reader into your computer via USB cable. Plug & Play — no complex installation needed.

02

Set Up Your Warehouse Map

Log into Nextwaves Cloud. Create your warehouse layout by naming each storage zone (Zone A, Zone B, Shelf 1, Shelf 2) and linking each name to a physical location tag.

03

Import Products & Assign Tags

Enter product information (name, quantity, category) into the software, then scan RFID tags on cartons using the Desktop Reader or Handheld Scanner to link physical goods to digital records.

04

Locate Items Instantly

When looking for a specific carton in a 1,000m² warehouse, check the Nextwaves Cloud map for the expected zone, then use the Handheld Scanner — it beeps faster as you approach the target. Find items in 30 seconds instead of 30 minutes.

05

Full Warehouse Inventory

Open the Inventory page in Nextwaves Cloud, then walk through each aisle with the Handheld Scanner. The software automatically records all scanned items and flags any discrepancies.
